Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia
You will find here some special contents about the conflict between Georgia and the selfproclaimed republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. At the moment Nationalia can offer a chronology that summarizes the main events occurred in the region relating to the conflict between 18 February, the day after Kosovo declared independence, and 26 August, when Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Moscow would recognise Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states.
