Catalonia
In Catalunya del Nord, or Northern Catalonia, the Catalan nationalist parties running in the local elections are Unitat Catalana (Catalan Unity), Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya (Democratic Convergence of Catalonia), and Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (Republican Left of Catalonia). Only Unitat Catalana has councillors at the municipal level for the time being.

Unitat Catalonia is a nationalist party that advocates “the reform of the French Jacobean system” and calls for the Catalan Countries to be recognized as a single entity while maintaining the specific identity of Catalunya del Nord.
